Imari has over 34 years of Bellydancing experience, sharing her passion with thousands of women throughout New England.
Imari's style is traditional, elegant, graceful, and extremely sensual, holding bellydancing true to its mysterious reputation.
With endless charisma, she delivers her dance to her audience with a warm smile and classy demeanor.
She is the Artistic Director of New England's premier Bellydancing troupe - Imari & the Sahara Desert Dancers. This powerfully feminine dance troupe has dazzled crowds as large as 12,000 people.
I believe that Bellydancing is a beautiful form of self-expression that can help individuals develop confidence, creativity, and discipline. Bellydancing is appropriate for all ages, dance levels and all body shapes and sizes.
I believe that dance has the power to bring people together and foster a sense of community and family. As the founder of Bellydancing for Breast Cancer and One Hip Night of Bellydancing, I have been instrumental in utilizing my gift of dancing as a vehicle for fund raising - benefiting multiple charities over the years.
In addition, together with many of my troupe members, we bring light into Nursing homes and Medical facilities with our gift of joyful dance.
